My name is Cassie — I’m the creator/editor of The North + West Kitchen. I’m a self-taught chef, turned professional baker, turned holistic nutritionist + non-toxic living advocate with massive dreams.

I grew up in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest, where invitations to go mushroom hunting on the weekends are all too common and bright, seasonal food is celebrated.

This blog is built around the concept that our health truly starts in the kitchen. The North + West Kitchen is a community that celebrates real food, holistic health, and human connection.

I’m 34 years old and I actually love getting older because I know it’s bringing me closer to my goals (the facials don’t hurt either).
